About Dayton Children's

As a 155-bed regional pediatric referral center, The Children's Medical Center of Dayton offers numerous career opportunities for professionals interested in working with infants, children and teens.  In our 20-county region, we are the only facility with a full-time commitment to the care of children of all ages.

Some of our key services are emergency and traumacare, newborn intensive care, pediatric intensive care, neurosurgery, general surgery, pulmonary medicine and special areas for hematology/oncology and burn patients. In addition, we provide care in approximately 35 specialty areas including orthopedics, neurology, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, endocrinology, cardiology, child development and dermatology. We also offer the area's only regional pediatric transport program.

We excel in many areas
Dayton Children's is consistently ranked as one of the top hospitals in the country. We also offer many centers of excellence, which include accredited programs in cancer care, sleep disorders and cystic fibrosis. We have been designated a regional pediatric trauma center by the American College of Surgeons. Dayton Children's is home to the regional treatment centers for cystic fibrosis, hemophilia, sickle cell and genetics. Our Regional Level III Newborn Intensive Care Unit is the regional referral center for high-risk neonates.
